Oh Canada! :)

Hey! Happy Sunday :)
Today we went on a day trip up across the border to Canada. Very fun! It was a 3 hour drive.
We took little Echo with us. The main goal was to get to Boundary Bay- there were a bunch of white owls there! According to the paper, it was the first time to see all these owls just hanging out in about 30 years.
Then we stopped into a little fish and chips place that was really good! Then the trip back.
Over all it was a 6 hour trip but really awesome...

Hello!
It's been pretty long since I've updated- but here I am!
About 3 weeks ago we got a little pup. She looks pretty thoroughly black lab, but we can't be sure cause she's a shelter dog. But she's adorable and awesome and super high energy.  Most of out time has gone into training her. We're taking her to obedience classes. We didn't take our other dog to classes and she's pretty dang awful :)
Apart from that it's just schoolwork as usual (school= BORING)
Now we're watching the Mavs play Portland. Currently they're winning so it's going well!

Okay, so I just did one, but I couldn't help it. I have to make up for a couple of weeks. At least that's what I tell myself.
Anyways, how about 10 Things i love this week- Apps Addition.
Here we gooo!

1. Instagram. I love this app. No way around it!
2. Camera+ Yes, it's just a plane camera, but it's pics are sooo much better then the normal camera.
3. Foodily This app is epic. It has so many really good recipes. And very well set up.
4. Pandora Of course this is on my list! I can listen to the songs I love and discover new songs. It's a win win.
5. Picframe I use this one a lot. Example A; the header. The Quality doesn't look great right now, but that's because I'm too lazy to download the pic right. ;)
6. Craftgawker This is simply awesome and really inspirational.
7. Day One As computer journals go, I think this is a fair contender. I had Wonderful days for a while- made some cool posts with lots of pics etc, but then it crashed, loosing half the stuff. (That sucked!)
8. I Movie I honestly think this is a better video making thing then what I had on my netbook. it's awesome, basically. 
9. Netflix. This is an of course! Watching old Downton abbeys on my ipod? Sure thang, bro. :)
10. Social Apps. Um, yes. These are to be expected. But here you go- I love the twitter app. Facebook is okay. Would like the google +, but no ones on it, the tumblr app sucks, and i don't really like the pintrist one.

How's about a 10 Things I love this week. Sorry it took so long!

1. This headline Yes, it's something I love. Haha. I can't tell if the Seattle Times is being sarcastic (Rain? IN Seattle? No way!) or if they said it wouldn't rain. I don't care. I'll take it as sarcastic :)
2. Nail Art Goodness, I feel like i'm copying Madison. (She just recommended nail art) But really, that's one of the ways I kept myself entertained during the home confinement. i've done Angry Birds and Pigs, Water marbling, Aztec design, and roses in the last week. 
3. Cooking Yes, that's very vague. But i've just been working on cooking better- making dinner quite a lot. Made breakfast burrito this morning. 
4. The Legend of Zelda. Let's just get this out here- I'm a nerd. Mmhmm. ;) Anyways, I've been playing the new legend of Zelda game. Currently I'm fighting an evil freakin scorpion. But I've also been watching my sis play- she's the good one- and she's all the way to the final temple thing.
5. My wall of pictures I got my dad to put it up in the last week- two cork boards, and magnet strips etc. Gotta post picture later.
6. My SMASH book I love it. So fun! 
7. Trying out new makeup techniques. Maybe this doesn't deserve a spot, but I'm going to give it one. It's been fun to mess around a bit more with my makeup. You might not guess this, but I'm a bit serious. I mean, I only write like i'm 30 right? Haha :)
8. Lady Antebellum Ummm... yes...Country... I don't know what has happened to me, I guess 6 months in Montana will have an effect! I just got the "We Owned the Night Album" and have been listening to it. A lot.
9. Justin Beiber perfume Yes, I like Justin Bieber. Go ahead and hate! Technically, this could have been in my list from Christmas on, since that's when I got it. But I didn't think to put it in! 
10. Baking Cupcakes Perhaps this belongs with cooking, but hey, it's different. I love how easy cupcakes are. And fun. And cute. So there you go

Snow! That's what this last week was. It started last Saturday, and lasted until Friday. Now it's rainy. We didn't get out of the house from Monday to Friday- and that drove my crazy! So glad we can get out again.

So- I just added a new background picture. Sweet, ehh? :)  Today has been a bit of a lazy Sunday. It snowed yesterday, which means it's icy today. But it was nice! I'm glad we don't get a lot of snow though. Today I got my dad to put up some pictures etc. in my room- have to post pictures once I can get some decent ones. I also cleaned up around the school room.. Well, a bit. Ha! Now I'm just hanging out, messing around with my blogger template.
